Mathematical Model for Emergent Oscillations in Human Menstrual Cycle Due to Constant and Progressive Human Stress

چکیده
The Aim of this study is to develop a mathematical model of the hypothalamopituitary-gonadal axis that would reflect available data in humans. A model of hormonal relationships at the early follicular and midluteal phases of the human menstrual cycle is proposed. Further development of models of the endocrine system may lead to better understanding of the relationship between mental illness, physiological cycle such as the female reproductive cycle. It discusses the special case when the acceleration equation satisfies the inverse power law and progressive stress is directly proportional to time. The corresponding cumulative distribution functions F (t) is obtained for the various cases in the medical applications.

Emergent oscillations in a mathematical model of the human menstrual cycle.
BACKGROUND The aim of this study was to develop a mathematical model of the hypothalamo-pituitary-gonadal axis that would reflect available data in humans. METHODS A model of hormonal relationships at the early follicular and midluteal phases of the human menstrual cycle is proposed. FINDINGS Two distinct temporal patterns of oscillatory behavior have been demonstrated for both pituitary an...
متن کاملFocal Adhesion Kinase (FAK) Involvement in Human Endometrial Remodeling During the Menstrual Cycle
Background: Endometrial remodeling occurs during each menstrual cycle in women. Reports have shown that, in a variety of cell types, processes such as proliferation, signaling complex formation and extra cellular matrix remodeling require a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase, focal adhesion kinase (FAK). The present study has focused on the expression pattern of FAK in human endometrium during the men...
متن کاملP-142: Adenosine Deaminase Activity during Menses, Follicular and Luteal Phases of Menstrual Cycle
Background: In recent years, numerous regulators of gonadal function have been studied. Adenosine deaminase(ADA) is widely distributed throughout human tissues and may contribute in the regulation of menstrual cycle. The purpose of this study was to determine the plasma activities of total adenosine deaminase (ADAT), and its isoenzymes, ADA1 and ADA2, and ADA1/ADA2 ratio during the menses, foll...
متن کاملO-31: Epigenetic Aberration of HOXA10 Gene in Human Endometrium throughout The Menstrual Cycle in Endometriosis
Background: Epigenetic aberration such as DNA methylation and histone modifications appear to be involved in various diseases such as Endometriosis. Here, we investigated the epigenetic regulation of HOXA10 promoter, as a crucial gene, responsible for uterine organogenesis, functional endometrial differentiation and endometrial receptivity, and its correlation with mRNA expression of this gene ...
متن کاملMonte Carlo simulation of two 106Ru eye plaques in a new mathematical human eye model
BEBIG Ruthenium-106 ophthalmic plaques have been used for treatment of uveal melanoma, retinoblastoma, melanoma of the iris and other special applications for many years. The plaques consist of a thin film of 106Ru, a beta emitter, encapsulated in pure silver. The present work proposes a new mathematical eye model for ophthalmic brachytherapy dosimetry. This new mod...
